Acropolis Hypervisor Clustering via aCLI–Nutanix 101

 

  1. Open SSH session CVM with nutanix/nutanix/4u credentials

  2. type acli

  3. acli shell is opened

To get host details type

host.get “IPAddressofHost”

host.get 192.168.1.142

In above screen you see CVM memory size and if this host is available to take load

Check if host is in maintenance mode

host.get_maintenance_mode_state 192.168.1.163

Below list hosts

host.list

host.get_maintenance_mode_state 192.168.1.163

Schedulable = False implies host is in maintenance mode. This host is reserved as failover host. But in 4.5 release it is changed.

host.list_vms 192.168.1.142

To get HA configuration, just type in

ha.get
